Our karate summer camp is intended for students ages 4 - 14 yrs old - beginners and advanced. The summer camp will be 3 hrs each day, 5 days total. Students currently enrolled in afternoon karate programs can do both the summer camp and their regularly scheduled classes at the same time. This is a good time for students that have been gone for the summer to reintroduce themselves to classes and get back on track to continue lessons as school begins. This is also a good opportunity for new students to try out our program and see if our classes are right for you.
What to wear?
• Students please wear your full uniform to the camp because the activities we do each day may involve grabbing and throwing, and the uniforms help prevent students grabbing skin and ripping shirts. Remember your belt!
• Bring sparring gear and mouth guard each day if you have it (the dojo can provide gear if you do not have any).
What to bring?
• We will take 2 – 3 breaks throughout the 3 hr session. Students can bring snacks for themselves to eat during these times. Please bring something light, not very complicated, and not too filling as it can inhibit training throughout the day.
• Students should bring their own water and water bottles, since the dojo does not have a water fountain.
First student - $185.00 for the entire week
Additional family member - $145.00 each
Some students might not be able to come to the camp the entire week. If you will miss a few days, we offer a per day payment as well.
Students can sign up for and participate in both summer camps, but they are the same, and cover the same material and have the same schedule.
This is available to all ranks - even brand new students.
